April showers brings May flowers

2023 has been all about growth for GOT CANS.

Did you know that one of the owners of GOT CANS is in her own professional growth? Kathryn S has been accepted into the Sustainable Business and Leadership program at BCIT. Kathryn utilizing both her professional HR background and applying the learnings from the BCIT program will be offering Sustainability Consultation and Training to all Sea to Sky businesses. Stay tuned as more will be revealed on this service.

As mentioned in our last blog GOT CANS has purchased our first van. The van who we like to call Betsy is now labelled with our logo and business information. Look for us around town and the Sea to Sky corridor. Betsy is a strong and mighty van helping us to help both businesses and residents recycle making a difference in our community.

Q1 is over and the cheques have been written! GOT CANS in partnership with businesses has been supporting local and needy charities. Cheques have now gone out to the following charities-Squamish Search and Rescue, Squamish Environmental Society, Under One Roof and the Squamish SPCA. Thank you to our residents and business partners who work with us to make a difference. We look forward to what Q2 will bring for our charities.
